First Full Day

Our first full day of kindergarten was WONDERFUL!!!!

We learned a lot of expectations and procedures as well as had a lot of fun. The kiddos even got to go to PE with Mrs. Kiemele. They had a great time!! :)

We learned all about the letter Aa today; learned its sound, talked about words that begin with a, practiced writing capital a and even made an  alligator crown. Tomorrow we will learn about the letter Bb and go to music with Mrs. B.

I am hoping for another wonderful day in kindergarten tomorrow as we continue to learn about kindergarten and each other!

Love Mrs. Baied

First Full Week

Welcome to our first FULL week of Kindergarten!!!

Please return all of the paperwork that was sent home on Friday with your child. I cannot wait to see how this week goes for all of the students, they may be extra tired this week but will soon get into the routines and schedules of school.

Some questions you can ask your child about their day's this week:
-What was your favorite part of your day?
-What did you eat for lunch?
-What did you play at recess?
-Did you make a new friend? Can you tell me their name??
-What letter did you learn about today?

A class newsletter will be coming home this Wednesday, along with every Wednesday of the school year, with information about our week and upcoming events.

Please be sure to check your child's monkey take home folder every night!

Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns!!!

Welcome to Kindergarten!!!!

Welcome to Mrs. Baied's kindergarten!
I am so excited to to have your kindergartners in my classroom this year!  We will have so much fun making new friends and learning new things.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns throughout the school year.

A few reminders....
...please complete and send all paperwork back as soon as possible.
...Thursdays are early out, dismissal is at 2pm.
...the beginning of school can create anxiety and uneasy feelings in new kinder kiddos.  I PROMISE that these will soon wain and that you have probably cried more tears than they have! :)
...your child will probably come home starving for the first few weeks of school!  The experience in the cafeteria is often sensory overload and they will eat very little.  They will also rush through eating their lunch in an effort to run outside and play, this will diminish after they have learned all of the lunch routines and the novelty wears off.

I am looking forward to a fabulous school year!

Love, Mrs. Baied
