Fire Safety Puppet Show

 Today we had a special 
Fire Safety Puppet Show! 
We learned so many things from our puppet friends and even received some fun FIRE SAFETY things to bring home including a key chain, stickers, bookmarks, tattoos and a bracelet!

Frank the Firefighter was so funny..he taught us all about being safe with fire and introduced us to a bunch of different friends. He told us to go home tonight and practice a fire drill with our families and test our smoke detectors. Everyone needs a plan to survive!

Ask your child what a smoke detector is used for...

 Orange Juice sang us a song about staying low and go. He taught us to stay low to the ground and get out of the fire.

Texas Cactus Pete was another friend we met. When he was a kindergartner he was almost burned so he sang about learning the difference between tools and toys. 

Ask your kiddo is a match is a tool or a toy..... 
Ask them about a lighter...

If our clothes are on fire, we need to 

STOP

DROP

& 

ROLL!

Be sure to also cover your mouth and nose so you do not breathe in the smoke.

The show ended with a VERY SPECIAL FRIEND.....he is a fire safety dog...ask your kiddo what his name was!
